Games, Gaming, the games. Some would argue they are a waste of the time and the mind, fit only for entertainment of the awkward or anti-social. I disagree. I’m not wasting my life, I am getting a ton of enjoyment when I play, and hey, a lot of the time the stories are better than Hollywood.
I write, I read, I watch, I game. They are activities that can be enjoyed with friends or without. They can be cost efficient too (every book, film, and game I own has been enjoyed a multitude of times – major bang for my buck).
Games I’m playing now:
Upcoming Video games that I am most looking forward to:
Alice: Otherlands (hoping it actually gets made)
Video games I have yet to finish, haven’t played myself (youtubed it), or that I want as part of my collection (wish list):
Dead Frontier (online only)
Afterfall: Insanity – okay, so I haven’t heard terribly good things about it, but it still looks interesting to me so I would like to give it a try.
And if I can ever get my Super Nintendo back in working order, I’d like to play Castlevania IV. It’s a huge classic and a feast for the eyes and ears.
Video games that should be made (but won’t):
Carnevil: Console/PC port needed please
Manhunt 3 – Rockstar, quench my bloodthirst!
Forbidden Siren IV – The Siren series is among the most underrated horror names to date. Even the Americanized reboot had something to offer
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Sequel/the Requiem (third PC installment) – (too bad the studio went out of business). Bloodlines was a vastly underrated game. If Bloodlines had been finished upon release, it would have been FLAWLESS. White Wolf needs to get on this!
Clive Barker’s Jericho 2 – What was a very enjoyable game hit the skids with a lackluster ending! The fans deserve a proper sequel!
